Contextual Transport
The operation by which a relation is carried from one context to another under a stated rule.
Definition
Contextual transport is the operation by which a relation defined in one context is carried into another context, subject to a rule that specifies which features of the relation are preserved and which may be altered by the transport. Transport failures are informative — they identify the boundary of a concept.
